Abstract:
Universities implementing their mission to educate people at the highest level and conducting research for creating innovative potential of society, take more and more consideration to cooperation with the external environment. Environment around the university becomes an important partner for universities in fulfilling their mission. A special place in this part of the university's strategy, which refers to cooperation with external partners, falls on employers environment. Partnerships with business can be a source of inspiration for innovative projects undertaken jointly. Business verifies the learning outcomes of higher education. Companies finally are an attractive market for the services provided by universities, such as training courses of the Life Long Learning type and the commercialization of universities' research. It all makes that in education policy and plans for the development of higher education intitutions, theory and practice of building relationships with the labor market plays a more and more important role. On the other hand, companies treat higher education as a resource of knowledge and inspiration to develop their own product offerings and improving their processes, technology and organization. Universities are also the primary source from which companies supply their human resources.

Building a relationship of relevance with labor market is now widely regarded as one of the four basic tasks facing the Higher Schools apart from teaching, research and internationalization, Thus, from the perspective of higher education co-operation between universities and the labor market is a condition sine qua non for the implementation of the two basic functions of higher education - the proper preparation of students for future careers and creation of research work corresponding to market demand.

With the commencement of operations of the WSCS (2000) there was established Rector's Advisory Board (RAB) as a body acting in an advisory and consulting matters relating to the overall development strategy of the School, long-term policy program, personnel and investments of the University.

RAB's Members are representatives of companies performing the functions of the Director General, the Director or the President, representing the company, which have a decisive influence on the shape and size of the Polish IT market (including the IT labor market). Currently, in the RAB are represented companies: IBM Poland, Polish Microsoft, Intel, Poland, Polish, Oracle, Cisco Systems Poland, HP Poland and NASK (Scientific Academic Computer Network).

The RAB formula is the only such meeting płace in Poland for people of high professional standing in the IT industry. Their experience and knowledge in an indirect and direct way are passed to academic community - students, graduates and researchers.
In the article the unique system of WSCS cooperation with IT corporations named CoRe IT Program and it's results will be presented.
