Abstract:
Nowadays, language teaching is undergoing serious anthropocentric transformations. Teachers, creatively recycling international experience, are searching for innovative activity-oriented methodologies, including a maximum of interactive forms of training in the lesson. One of the most effective among them is staging. After having analyzed Spanish literature on didactics, devoted to the peculiarities of staging and drama methods in Spanish as the second language, the authors regard staging as a highly effective pedagogical resource that generates the communicative and discursive multi-competences, motivating students, fomenting their socialization and increasing the attractiveness of a foreign language lesson. Dramatizing practice implements pedagogical approach. Theatrical episode is a kind of public speaking, which develops various subspecies of human intellect. In staging everything is important: words, voice, speech tempo, timbre, pause, glance, gesture, movement, and body language. It is very important to work with gestures they are obligatory on the stage, because a traditional lesson blocks the issue of gestures. The student learns how to impress his/her play-partners and assesses this impact as some kind of a psychological victory over himself. A specific contact with others on professional subjects occurs. Students see themselves forced to develop certain proper tactics contacting and influencing the others. It is very necessary in everyday life and in future professions. Students learn to control their mood and attitude to their classmates, overcome their fears; train spontaneity and ease in speech; acquire skills of public speaking and necessary skills of verbal interaction.
The article suggests some variations of professionally-oriented staging, necessary for any student who sees himself/herself as a part of future society. Keywords:
