Abstract:
The pandemic caused by the spread of Covid-19 has affected almost every area of human life. It also had a significant impact on security and safety practices. The need to ensure compliance with pandemic measures has resulted in a change in the demands on security staff. These changes were visibly reflected mainly in the object physical protection. However, security staff in the area of physical protection management and control were also exposed to new challenges and changes in demands. The article aims to identify and describe the key areas in the performance of object physical protection as well as in the control and management of this activity, which was significantly affected by the pandemic of the Covid-19. The aim of the article is fulfilled through logical methods, interviews, comparisons and evaluations. The results are designed to provide a structured and logical overview of the physical protection aspects of the facility, the significance of which has changed as a result of the spread of Covid-19. The conclusion of the article provides a comprehensive view of the problems caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in the field of protection of persons and property.
