Abstract:
In the contemporary creative and pedagogical context, the projections of the digital visual language are vast and continue to evolve. In the realm of visual language, the digital means refers to the specific characteristics and techniques used when creating or interpreting visual content in a digital context.
The digital perspective in creating art products involves utilizing the unique features and tools provided by digital mediums to express artistic ideas and engage viewers in novel ways. It allows experimentation, exploration, and the fusion of traditional artistic practices with digital techniques. This perspective goes beyond traditional art forms and incorporates elements specific to digital media.
The use of different digital approaches in the creation of art products is the basis of this research. It aims to trace the extent and manner of use of digital tools in the creation of various works of visual arts by art pedagogy and graphic design students. The study also analyzes the relationship between the students' application of digital technologies in art products according to their age and degree of digital competence.
Digital art allows students to experiment freely and make changes easily. They can create multiple versions of a piece, experiment with different styles, and refine their work without the constraints imposed by traditional media. Art students can access a vast library of digital brushes and textures that mimic traditional media like oil paint, watercolors, charcoal, and more. This enables them to achieve a wide range of effects and explore diverse artistic styles. They can incorporate photographs, textures, and graphics from various sources into their work to create unique collages. The seamless integration of digital elements opens up a wide array of creative possibilities. The digital visual language continuously evolves, giving rise to new aesthetics and styles. Artists and designers explore innovative ways to blend traditional and digital techniques, experimenting with generative art, data visualization, glitch art, and algorithmic design. These emerging aesthetics challenge traditional notions of visual representation and contribute to the evolving contemporary art scene.
The research methods that we use in the paper are visual analysis and comparative analysis of the educational art work of the students. On the basis of the analisis we determine the level of aesthetic impact of them.
In summary, the projections of digital visual language in the contemporary creative and pedagogical context involve the integration of digital tools, multimodal experiences, accessibility, visual storytelling, digital citizenship, collaborative learning, and the adaptability to emerging technologies. These projections present exciting opportunities for creativity, engagement, and innovation in both artistic and educational practices.
