The survey is carried out in the form of a questionnaire. These was intended for employees in managerial positions in the position of employers, as well as for regular employees of self-governing regions. The article applies a questionnaire, which is aimed at finding out the current state of education of employees at the offices of self-governing regions in the Slovak Republic and their requirements for managers in the field of self-development, leadership education and career advancement. Based on the findings, it is possible to design a unified system of education of employees of self-governing regions in order to naturally and smoothly integrate education into the working life of employees. By improving the personal, digital abilities and skills of individual office employees, it is possible to provide e-government users with a higher quality of public administration services.
