TEAM WORK AS TARGETED SUPPORT OF INCLUSION IN EDUCATION

Abstract:
The aim of this article is to inform about the implementation and results of the project Direct and targeted support of school inclusion - the question of school, family, neighborhood (r. CZ.02.3.61 / 0.0 / 0.0 / 15_007 / 0000239) guaranteed by the Silesian University in Opava, Faculty of Public Policies. The project addressed issues related to the conditions of inclusive education, with an emphasis on increasing the competences of teaching staff, working with legal representatives of pupils with special educational needs and pupils at risk of early school leaving and direct support for these pupils. The objectives of the project were reflected in individual key activities and their specific form which concerned to the promotion of the education of pupils from 52 participating primary schools, their parents and legal guardians, teachers and teaching staff. Throughout the project was implemented and provided out-of-school tutoring for over 600 pupils directly in the school environment and also individually for 55 pupils in the home environment. The tutoring was happening with the aim of developing the necessary key competencies, especially competencies to reading and mathematical literacy. The project supported the establishment of professional jobs and the inclusion of additional experts in the school counseling team - school special pedagogue (4), school inclusion coordinator (13) and school assistant (10). Educational courses, workshops, exchanges and consultation meetings were continuously offered to teachers (360) as part of didactic and methodological support in order to increase the effectiveness of cooperation among participants of inclusive education. Within the Czech Republic, this project is an extraordinary support for an inclusive educational system with a lasting positive effect. In the questionnaire, due to basic items of selected thematic areas, we found improving pro-inklusiveness at all 52 participating schools.Keywords:
