Abstract:
Within the framework of the curriculum in the Cyber Informatics program, students study cultural and ethical issues in the digital space. The students submit projects and use advanced technological tools such as: applications, videos / electronic discussions / work with digital panels and more. Digital space in the spirit of the 21st century allows learners different learning stimuli and discussion and working together with colleagues. In the development of projects focusing on cultural issues in the digital space, students are required for creativity, high thinking, curiosity and responsibility for their learning.

In this paper, students' perceptions of cultural and ethical issues in the digital space are examined.

140 students participated in the study. Students submitted research papers on social and value issues, were required to write a reflection in addition to interviews with the students who submitted research papers. The students' approaches to the subjects they worked on and explored were examined. Examples of topics: copyright in the digital age, cyberbullying and more. The study is qualitative research. Students were found to be satisfied with the process of exploring social and cultural issues, and there was also a connection between the topics discussed and the change in attitudes towards the population being examined.
