Abstract:
Introduction:
Scientific cooperation between universities is a cause that is becoming increasingly important in modern times. The partnership in higher education is expressed in the creation and support of individuals with a wide horizon of expertise and knowledge. One of the main missions of the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies (ULSIT) is to follow and promote joint activities and projects between different countries in higher education and research. The pandemic of the COVID-19 virus slowed down the process, but also created an opportunity to do science from a distance, in isolation and with a focus on new perspectives in the future.

Methodology:
UniBIT has many years of experience in international scientific cooperation with established educational, cultural, scientific and government institutions. The geographical map of these partnerships includes the Sorbonne, the Oxford-Bodlean Library, the British Library, the University of Barcelona, the Austrian Diplomatic Academy set up by Maria Theresia, the National Library and National Archives of Malta, Sapienza University and Lateran University. This raises the authority of the native higher education beyond the borders of our homeland and helps our experience to be shared among like-minded people around the world.

Aim:
This report presents the international research activities of the ULSIT - the boutique university of Bulgaria, which trains specialists in libraries, archives, spirituality, applying the new possibilities of information technology, with universities in the Middle East.
Presentation: Dubai has been a target for just seven years since the emirate launched a new education system in higher education, ranking second in qualifications and recognition and 5th in openness and mobility. In fact, there are two cooperation agreements - with Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University - Dubai, UAE and with Wollongong University in Dubai.

Results:
The established cooperation in the field of education, research and development, scientific and informational, joint educational courses, scientific forums, shared research and development, the exchange of scientific information and achievements create new partnerships in the Middle East. A network of educational programs is being created that trains specialists at arm's length - in computer science, humanities, intercultural history, artificial intelligence, intellectual property, media and new communications. Relationships in a university environment are an instrument of the future that facilitates mobility and mutual communication, work and achievement.
