Abstract:

The whole society, all governmental and public institutions should provide the joint efforts for ensnaring of broad education and personal development of every child with special needs. Everyone is agree with this idea, but in this area school still nods to family, the family in its turn to the school and street, the public - to school, to family and to street. Here the biggest pie goes to family and so it becomes more vulnerable.
Unfortunately, there are many schools, which haven’t got social workers yet. For example, every school or teacher may visit the family of student with special need, can make a list of dysfunctional families, manage meetings and interviews with them, but they haven’t any privileges to provide assistance, social support to student and his\her family, as only social workers have such rights. Therefore, their presence and role at school is irreplaceable.
Social worker organizes and conducts consultations on the right and duty of capabilities, offers proposed possible solutions to the problems of the families with children with special needs, which are connected with educational process, provides social assistance and support, using all the existing rules, opportunities and resources . It is also necessary to provide timely measures and financial support from state benefits as a response for applies. The main goal of social worker is to combine family’s efforts in order to overcome the family crises (social, psychological, medical, and financial). For this aim social worker must analyze the problem, consult with experts and then define the ways of coming out of crisis.
In final paper we explore providing social support by social workers and discuss some examples of social support centres for families which have children with special needs.
