Abstract:
This research was conducted to analyze the effectiveness of collaborative technique in the learning of Islamic Jurisprudence. The main aim of this study was to find out the differences in achievement levels of the experimented groups that had been taught using the collaborative technique. At the same time, the study also aim to analyze the attitudes of the students towards the learning of Islamic Jurisprudence, before and after the intervention of collaborative technique into their lessons. A total of 42 students Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah College, were selected to be the samples in this study. The two groups were involved in this research were chosen from the two existing classes which had same level of abilities. The main instrument used to collect the data were post test and questionnaire. The analysis showed that there was significant difference between the two groups (p<0.00) by which experimented group achieved significantly higher results compared to the controlled group. Furthermore this study also showed that the attitude of the students towards the learning of Islamic Jurisprudence after the induction of the collaborative technique did not show much difference when compared to their attitudes before collaborative was even introduced in their lessons.
