Abstract:
Collaborative action research is one platform for lecturers to conduct research in addition to channel knowledge to teachers in schools. Collaborative research has become a platform of smart partnerships between researchers to enhance the professionalism of the school's researchers, teachers, in particular, and to students and schools in general. This collaborative action research conducted in one of the secondary technical schools in the south of the country (Malaysia), involving researchers themselves through the process of teaching and learning of Beauty Arts courses among Form Four students. Teaching strategies are designed together, modified and repaired in three cycles, or phases of the study according to three topics that are taught, the Cosmetics Night Treatment Home Basic, and manicures. Data collected through observation, interviews, and documents. It can be concluded that this collaborative research methods provide the space and information useful for researchers to improve and enhance professionalism in terms of pedagogical knowledge, curriculum implementation, research, real world of teaching in schools, and psychology and sociology students.
