Abstract:
Blended learning can be seen as one of the ways to intensify the educational process because this educational technology allows to organize training on a flexible basis with the involvement of additional resources, both educational and technological, combine traditional methods and current technologies and makes it possible to control the time, place, pace and path of learning the material. The article describes the models for introducing blended learning into the educational process at the Kazan Federal University and the experience of using blended learning for the intensification of teaching the English language to students specializing in Teacher Education. The article also outlines the technologies (flipped classroom), forms of work, computer-mediated activities (special training programs, platforms, resources) used in the implementation of blended learning in the educational process. The advantages and disadvantages of blended learning are highlighted. The analysis of the experimental results confirms that the method of blended learning contributes to the intensification of the educational process, makes it more efficient and partially eliminates the problems that exist in the system of language education in higher educational institutions.
