Abstract:
Motivation:
Intelligent technology has caused a series of changes in the social system and promoted its rapid development. Since education is a social subsystem, the basic and versatility of artificial intelligence profoundly impact educational behavior. STEM is the first letter of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. In the era of artificial intelligence, STEM education will give full play to its unique advantages, emphasizing interdisciplinary integration, and teaching practice. Robotics is a branch of artificial intelligence technology. As an all-in-one tool, it has practicality and cross-integration of multiple disciplines. Integrating robotics with STEM education for learning, and relying on actual project activities, can enable students to acquire the skills, knowledge, attitude and interest needed to succeed in the field of STEM. To study the present integration situation of China's robotics and STEM education, we propose a path of integration based on the present situation, which can promote the development of STEM education in China and provide a direction for educational reform in the era of artificial intelligence.

Method:
This paper uses the relevant literature of "Robotics" and "STEM education" in the CNKI database as the research sample. Firstly, we use the literature bibliographic information statistical analysis tool SATI3.2 software and the social network analysis software UCINET6 to perform co-occurrence network diagrams, and Centrality analysis summarizes the current hot spots and future trends of the integration of robotics and STEM education in China. Then, we use the data statistical analysis software SPSS20.0 to perform systematic clustering analysis to analyze the main content of the current research on the integration of robotics and STEM education in China.

Conclusion:
We summarize the enlightenment and shortcomings of the current research and put forward the path of integrating robotics and STEM education based on the actual situation. There are mainly the following three parts, respectively:
(1) The integration method should be standardized,
(2) Building a learning ecosystem of robotics and STEM education, and
(3) Integration with Maker education to promote the development of core literacy.

Exploring the integration path of robotics and STEM education is of great significance for realizing China's STEM education innovation vision, promoting smart education, and pushing back social changes. It provides a direction for cultivating talents with core literacy, such as computational thinking, innovation awareness, and communication skills needed in the new century.
