The meetings are performed by teleconference (video and web) on the last Wednesdays of each month and involve institutions all over Brazil and countries such as Portugal and Mozambique. These conferences have promoted education and permanent capacitation in intensive and high complexity nursing; opinion and experience sharing in this area all over Brazilian territory; and integration of high complexity assistance with primary attention to education based on the improvement of the quality in assistance. The SIG/RUTE includes the participation of the best nursing specialists in the area, from institutions that are reference in health in Brazil, providing knowledge exchange between the academy and the services, in a proposal that integrates professional capacitation and practice.
