Abstract:
Artificial intelligence (AI) is poised to revolutionize undergraduate education by enhancing how assignments are designed and integrated into the learning experience. This session will explore practical strategies for leveraging AI technologies to improve teaching effectiveness and student engagement. Attendees will learn how AI can be used to tailor assignments, provide personalized feedback, and support diverse learning needs. Through interactive discussions and real-world examples, participants will gain insights into implementing AI solutions to foster an innovative educational environment.

Session Goals:
1) Identify Strategies for Implementing AI in Teaching and Learning:
Participants will explore practical approaches for integrating AI tools into teaching methodologies and assignment management. This will include strategies for using AI to create adaptive learning materials, automate grading and feedback, and personalize learning experiences to meet individual student needs.
2) Examine the Impact of AI on Assignment Design and Assessment:
Attendees will learn how AI can enhance the design and assessment of assignments. The session will cover AI-driven tools for generating and customizing assignments, providing timely and constructive feedback, and ensuring that assessments align with learning objectives.
3) Develop Actionable Plans for Integrating AI into Educational Practices:
Participants will engage in hands-on activities to develop actionable plans for implementing AI technologies in their own educational contexts. The session will focus on overcoming common challenges, ensuring ethical use, and creating strategies to maximize the benefits of AI in supporting both teaching and learning.

By the end of the session, attendees will be equipped with practical strategies and insights to effectively integrate AI into their teaching practices, enhance assignment management, and create a more dynamic and supportive learning environment.
