Abstract:
Museum is a bridge between the past, the present and the future, as well as the media that carry and transmit culture. Due to the limitation of exhibits, time and space, traditional museums are usually displayed in static forms, which weakens the subjective initiative of visitors and restricts the efficient use of resources and the effective dissemination of culture in pavilions. With the rapid development of information technology, museums are gradually changing to digital museums, virtual and real museums, smart museums and other diverse directions [1], which make the digital media resources of museums more abundant and display forms more vivid. At the same time, this transformation breaks through the limitation of time and space, promotes the dissemination of culture and knowledge without boundaries, and maximizes the educational function of museums.

The rapid development of VR has obvious advantages in education. It promotes the acquisition of students' knowledge and skills, improves the students' learning motivation and effect in the interactive learning environment, and also brings a brand-new way of knowledge dissemination and learning to museum learning, namely virtual museum [2], by simulating a particular scene, the space structure and skills operation way. Virtual museums use information technology, multimedia technology and network technology to digitize museum collections and carry out various teaching activities, so as to create a real sense of presence and interactive learning experience for visitors. According to the Horizon Report of New Media Alliance: Museum Edition 2016, the application of VR in museums should promote the visualization of complex views and the connection between the real world and the information world [3]. The application of VR has become the development trend of museum learning, which has a very important impact on the construction of virtual museums, cultural communication, interactive experience and education.

In the past five years, from the perspective of research subjects, there are few high-quality studies on universities, educators and enterprises; from the perspective of research objects, the application of VR in museum learning focuses on the construction of virtual museums on the basis of physical museums, lacking in relevant educational applications; from the perspective of application, there are no clear norms and standards to explain how to reasonably embed VR into museums, and there is no mature application system to use virtual museums to create learning situations and carry out teaching activities. This paper further discusses the application of VR in museum learning from the connotation, typical model and research focus of museum learning, and puts forward corresponding development Suggestions in order to give better play to the application and effect of VR in museum This paper discusses the application of VR in museum learning from the connotation, typical mode and research focus of museum learning, and puts forward corresponding development suggestions, in order to give better play to the application and effect of VR in museum learning.
