Abstract:
Introduction to systems-oriented library automation and digital automation has brought major change in the current job design environment in the library. These changes greatly influenced the job design of the library staff's and these changes must be implemented so that all staff at all levels can work with the increasingly rapid development of technology. If job design within the altered environment is not considered, the result can be employee apathy/hostility and the use of the system in unplanned ways. This study focused on improving job design specifically for library assistants staff at UTHM.
