Abstract:
This theoretical study proposes a unified framework for Bilingual Bible Holistic Character Education (BBHCE) by integrating Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) methodologies, principles of holistic character education, and AI-driven tools. The paper addresses the underexplored synergy of these fields within bilingual Bible education, particularly concerning age differentiation and AI augmentation. The framework aims to enhance learning outcomes across various age groups, from early childhood to seniors, by differentiating CLIL strategies to meet distinct developmental, linguistic, and cognitive needs. It examines the conceptual role of AI in overcoming challenges related to curriculum design, teacher training, and assessment, offering personalized learning experiences, intelligent scaffolding, and adaptive feedback. The study highlights how BBHCE fosters holistic character development, encompassing cognitive growth (linguistic and biblical literacy), emotional development (empathy and moral reasoning), and spiritual formation (reflection on faith and life purpose). Ultimately, this framework expands CLIL's traditional scope to include moral and spiritual development, contributing to educational theory by demonstrating the profound interdependence of pedagogy, content, and technology for transformative learning. The paper concludes by identifying theoretical gaps and outlining directions for future empirical research to validate and refine the BBHCE model.
