Abstract:
Against the background of the COVID-19 pandemic, the large-scale transition of educational activities to online mode has accelerated the process of digitalization, intellectualization, informatization of the process of learning foreign languages, carried out precisely with the help of modern information technology, in particular, artificial intelligence.

The question of how modern information technology can be better integrated into foreign languages teaching is currently a hot area of research in the field of foreign language teaching at home and abroad. Taking advantage of the opportunity for technology to develop, outstanding educators without a break try not to miss the opportunity to combine cutting-edge technology with their teaching to improve the quality of learning.

This article investigates the following three aspects: the advantages of using modern information technology in teaching foreign languages; the directions of technology integration into the educational process; the model of learning created with the help of elements of artificial intelligence. In the educational information space, access to many digital educational resources for learning a foreign language is open.

During the distance learning of 1st-year bachelors in the Chinese language with the help of various information technologies at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, it was found that the set learning goal was quickly and successfully achieved. The trainees and the trainee had a lot of fun learning.

As a result, we found that modern technology in teaching as an inevitable trend in the future is an auxiliary tool to achieve better teaching; we must rationally consider the impact of AI and ICT on foreign language teaching.
