Abstract:
The computer skills of new university students vary among individuals. In recent years, the difference of computer skill is spreading, and it makes hard to manage computer literacy class.

Conventionally, when teachers explain or demonstrate about specific applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel, explanation and practice are carry out at a short interval. However, these classes are often tedious for skillful students but rushes non-skilled students. As opposed to this, if teachers have relatively long time for the student's practice in the class, students can learn in accordance with their performance, and also by their paces.

In this research, we observe and categolize our computer literacy class with video recordings, and compare the above two lesson plan.
As a result, short intervals (a minute or few minutes) and long intervals (around 25 minutes) were confirmed in our class.
Responses from students were both positive, but long interval lesson plan were much preferred.
