Abstract:
The educational ideal follows the needs of society and individuals in tandem, being in permanent transformation both from the perspective of the level of modern technology and from the perspective of globalization.

The expectations of individuals in relation to any educational system aim at the safety of the participants, academic performance, quality information, modern methods, socio-professional insertion and even elements that are more related to social protection.

From this perspective, any educational system feels permanent pressure and struggles both in the relationship with the beneficiaries and in its own internal structure, in the permanent process of transformation, innovation and rethinking in the direction of achieving an educational ideal.

In addition, modern generations change compared to previous generations as a result of the impact of technology in their lives, they become better users but also more dependent on it, even developing a limited spectrum of social experience.

Our work, based on scientific research, highlights these aspects and raises one of the major problems of modern education: rethinking it in relation to the transformation of young people and the extremely dynamic society.

The specialized literature supports the elements invoked in this paper and the results of our research come to open a pool of discussions and potential solutions.

The validation of our conclusion is also given by the fact that, based on the methodology used, we carried out a research on a representative group of over 750 students from the 1st year, from a representative university for training in the field of economics and business, ranked 301-400, out of 1406 evaluated universities, in the 2022 Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings.
