Abstract:
Establishing the correspondence of the implementation phase of the business software development in relation to specification (verification), and the correspondence between business software product and the users’ expectations (validation), testing is one of the most significant milestones in the business software development process. Like other development phases of business software, the testing phase also necessitates providing preconditions for adequate dissemination. University ICT courses are especially fertile soil for this, which is also testified by numerous computer science and software-engineering university syllabus. Researching whether and to which extent software related topics are represented in the syllabus of selected universities dealing in the education of experts in business informatics and/or information system profiles, the aim of this paper is to define the characteristics and contents of a syllabus that would deal with the topic of business software testing at the study programme of Business Informatics at the Faculty of Economics in Subotica.
