Abstract:
Topic Map (TM) is a new semantic technology for information representation and knowledge management. In order to realise and exploit the potentials of this new technology, the need for software development to manage TM is indispensable.
This paper presents TM on new agile dynamic language Groovy and discuss what are the possible advantages of using this language for editing TM.
In contexts of this paper, a brief introduction of TM and a discussion about TM creating process and how software can manage it, are presented. Consequently, we focus on TM hierarchical databases and compare them with relational one.
Thereupon, we present TM4G, a framework for creating and managing TM using Groovy language and Grails. TM4G design procedure and architecture are illustarted in details.
