Abstract:
Looking at the specific features of the education on social and human issues in leading technological institutes and universities in USA, like MIT, Stanford, Caltech, University of Pennsylvania, and some others, we can notice the directionality on a developed education on humanities and minispecializations of this field. The mission of the extended model of education on social and human issues is to prepare the graduates for understanding the most important targets of humanity. Traditionally, in Russia, the part of human sciences in technical education is closer to an extended model. In the educational program of Russian technical universities there is a nearly unified set of humanities, targeted on the education of a specialist with a high level of cultural knowledge, but in some cases today we may see minimalistic tendencies in the formation of education on human issues, as it is mentioned in [1].

The main aim of our report is a substantiation of a great importance in cooperation of technical, mathematical and humanities knowledge within the confines of one masters educational program, understanding the specifics of these two models of humanization of higher education in technical and natural sciences. So, its methodological feature is the complementarity of methods, used in technical disciplines and humanities. This program, developed by us, is named «The psychology of cognition and cognitive engineering».

The program is based on interdisciplinary and integrative character, supposing that graduates could have both deep knowledge in human, social and engineering disciplines, also as in the methodology of cognitive sciences, and confident skills in modern informational technologies. The objects of professional occupation of the graduates may be: cognitive development of children at different ages, the interactions of human with modern technical systems, informational systems and systems of knowledge representation, intellectual systems in the areas of production and human sciences, adaptive training programs, systems of intellectual search and processing of data. According to the qualification of graduates, they could later fulfill various tasks at production companies, transport companies, so as in the research organizations, mass media companies, and also in various educational institutions.

The structure of this program consists of 8 modules:
M1. Theoretical and methodological issues of cognitive science.
M2. Modern psychological research.
M3. Mathematical instruments and technical realization of intellectual systems.
M4. Linguistic provision of intellectual systems.
M5. Engineering-psychological research (at student’s choice).
M6. Language basis of intellectual systems (at student’s choice).
M7. Technical realization of intellectual systems in the area of humanities (at student’s choice).
М8. Practice and research work.

Within the realization of the described program, scientific research, pedagogic and pre-graduation practices will be conducted.

The full annotation of disciplines, included in these modules, is given in the report, also with the discussion about prospects of the presented model.
