Abstract:
Virtual simulators represent one of the up-to-date learning trend, particularly, in the industry. The virtual environment should be as close as possible to real conditions in the issue of 3D objects location as well as actions simulation. Thanks to this technology, the continuous learning conception is formed, leading to training time, financial costs and expenses for consumables reduction. A virtual industrial environment allows modelling extra situations, emergencies and working out a set of decision-making measures in them.

When developing virtual simulators, special attention should be paid to the question: what to teach? The answer to that are knowledge and practical skills composition referring to the official editions e.g. the tariff-qualification reference book.

In the article the industrial work skills-based training system model is presented. The analysis and comparison of similar training systems are given. The software implementation represents the virtual workplaces of the mounter, assembly fitter and adjuster of radio and electronic equipment and devices developed at the Ulyanovsk State Technical University. The article also assesses the effectiveness of using the developed training system.
