Abstract:
The article compares the quality of life research based on the SEIQoL method in two different periods, namely the time before the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic (2016-17) and the period after this pandemic (2022). A total of 330 respondents from among students, working people and seniors were involved in the research. The data were obtained through a self-developed electronic online application. This application enables selected respondents, as well as other interested parties, self-testing using the SEIQoL method, immediate evaluation, as well as anonymous data collection from these tests. In the results of the current research, as expected, both the Covid-19 pandemic and the ongoing war in Ukraine and the related consequences on a social, economic and psychological level were reflected. Research has shown that traditional life topics such as family and health are prioritized. These topics have grown stronger over the years. Not only their importance has increased (family from 13% to 28% and health from 13% to 27%), but also the level of satisfaction with them (family from 39% to 79% and health from 32% to 73%). However, life topics neglected in previous research, such as peace (16%), work (41%) and finance (32%), are also taking the leading positions, at the expense of previously preferred topics such as free time (from 13% to 0.8%). Our study thus brings a view of the shift in life values among the respondents of the current population in the years 2016-2022, when the world is going through very serious social changes. The results of the study can provide significant findings for developing moral values in the learning process and in the students' own learning process. Keywords:
