Abstract:

Especially in technical fields is very important not only theoretical but also practical knowledge of students, which after the end of university studies facilitate their employment on the labour market and entry into the practise. For this reason, is one of the main universities’ goals to arrange maximal possible involvement into professional practice for their students, both in the form of excursions, internships, students’ competitions, practice in professional firms focused on their specialized field and support during their studies at foreign technical universities in terms of students mobility programs (Erasmus). Students of higher classes are primarily engaging in research projects whose solutions can continue in the form of doctoral studies. The content of this article is to describe the various methods of teaching support implemented at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, VSB-TU Ostrava.
