Abstract:
The European Higher Education has promoted a paradigm shift that has placed the student in the center of the teaching-learning process, thus raising a new educational approach that focuses on knowledge production. To achieve this transformation necessary and profound, and complex plural society of the XXI century needs, it is essential to have all the tools that provide the technologies of information and communication.

Camilo José Cela University has taken this challenge by creating a new departmental structure in which, in addition to integrating a new platform LMS to support teachers to develop new methodological strategies and assessment tools, new figures have been incorporated as the ICT Coordinator or delegate ICT, links between students and the teaching community. This new platform allows, among other technological tools, teachers and students to create their own ePortfolio by a specific editor that provides a new virtual space with personal, academic and professional achievements while also adding an assessment and justification of the importance of these.

From new innovative proposals created by the University, are actions being carried out to convey the importance of this new tool in the teaching-learning and competency assessment form in this new learning community. Among them we can emphasize different training plans in which students themselves are the ICT delegates, teaching their peers the importance of managing this virtual space, allowing them to reflect on the strengths and weaknesses found in key moments of academic life.
