Abstract:
The creation of the “Màster de Formació del Professorat” (MFP) at the University of Balearic Islands was an opportunity to be able to work in a specific way the conflict resolution education with future teachers of stages schools of secundary (ESO), and Batxillerat and Cicles Formatius. The importance to be able to properly manage each one of the conflicts that could appear in their students (over 12 years old) is a basic ability that every teacher must have for an effective teaching learning process.
Multiple and varied factors influence in the conflicts at school; these factors are not only in a personal level, also in social and relational level are present.

Professors of these future teachers have an important challenge: to provide educational tools, teaching strategies and effective methologies in order to be able to manage the different conflicts that could appear in schools to a several groups that have a professional profile that does not necessarily had recieved training or knowledge about pedagogy, developmental stages or needs of adolescents during a subject with 3 credits ECTS (75 hours).

This aim could only be achieved with an innovate teaching methodology where participation, coordination, reflection and responsability of everyone involved (students and teachers) play a fundamental and vital role.
Coordination between professors of these future teachers was also an important element of success; first, among the different professors who teach the subject to all the groups of students and second, with a proposal of collaboration between this subject and “Society, Family and Education” subject, in order to connect and to generalize learning and provide coherence and continuity to the learning process did in each subject.

The incorporation of the new technologies, bringing a virtual classroom for the subject with a variety of tools that encourage to the participation, collaboration and supervision also allowed to carry succesfully this experience.
