Abstract:
During the last academic course, some methodologies about educational innovation were applied in an experimental group at the first year at Escuela Universitaria de Ingeniería Técnica Forestal, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). The main goal of the project was the modernisation and adaptation of our studies to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). Along the present year the number of groups and subjects with these characteristics offered to the students has been increased, enjoying the incorporation of lecturers from other groups.
The proposals of these experiences, which have had financial support from UPM (Innovation Projects), have been characterized by the integration of the trainers of all the subjects, increasing the coordination between them and using methodologies of educational innovation. The students have received customized treatment. Formative evaluation has been performed in order to monitor how well the instructional objectives are being met.
In the present paper the results and the most important conclusions of these experiences are exposed, making the adequate comparison between both academic courses.
