Abstract:

ITACA is the project of technological administrative innovation for the educational centers and students of the Generalitat Valenciana.

This technological advanced solution allows the integrated administrative and academic management of the educational Valencian no university system, obtains the interconnection of 2.000 centers, more 60.000 teachers and more 700.000 pupils and supposes an authentic revolution of the educational autonomous administration across the Information and Communication Technology ( TIC). All this will favour a more fluid and direct relations between the educational centers and the families, simultaneously that will simplify and improve the work of management of the centers.

In this paper, they will be analyzed the advantages that there contributes the implantation of the new technologies, across the System ITACA, as basic proposal of the educational process in a Society of the Information and of the Knowledge.
