Abstract:
Analysis of double degree programs, which are implemented in European universities, leads to the conclusion that there is no single form of their implementation, and there is a variety of such models. Their existence is determined by partial specification of educational systems of the EU, but in most cases reflects the agreements between partners that were achieved during the program development. The study of existing models of cooperation between Ukrainian and European universities should contribute to the further development of international inter-university cooperation and, ultimately, the creation of a pan-European educational and scientific space.
The article aims at studying trends, dynamics and positive results of the European experience achieved through the implementation of double degree programs; analysing key issues: legal, methodological, academic and others, that universities deal with (such issues complicate the implementation of double degree programs); giving recommendations for key issues improvement.
