Abstract:
Distance learning styles in the past have often used the form of two-way communication as a form that enabled the students to feel that there is an interaction between the teacher and the learner, and between learners and learners face to face with each other with the use of audio-visual experience the most important. Aside from the interaction as mentioned, this type of teaching and learning will bring about good results; that being the student has time to think about the content of the lesson and each learner is able to read new comments of others by reading the opinions of friends, causing a situation called interaction. This situation is between learners and content and interaction between learners and learners, as well as with teachers and materials. On the part of teachers, design and teaching preparation will become important; that is, teachers must have a clear idea containing accurate information or subject matter and able to stimulate interest that links previous knowledge with new knowledge and presents interesting content which allows learners to be able to write down interesting content and also allows students to remember a variety of content as well. Teaching without good design and not well-prepared will detract from the skills to teach, resulting in a loss of expenses and time.

The objective of this paper was to study the Adaptive Technologies feature of distance learners with different learning styles. Aside from distance learning, the instructor has no opportunity to know whether or not the learner understands the lesson, how the learner feels about the lesson or even able to know that the students good at doing any skills or actions of the lessons. This article discusses technology suitable for distance learners based on 4 different learning styles according to the VARK Model: 1.Visual 2.Auditory 3.Reading / Writing and 4. Kinesthetic.
