Abstract:
This paper presents the development and implementation of an interactive learning tool based on a robotic solar tracker system designed according to Education 4.0 principles. The system combines hardware and software components to create a comprehensive cyber-physical learning environment that fosters 21st-century skills development. The learning tool features a web-based application that enables students to remotely program and control a robotic solar tracker, monitor its power consumption and production in real-time, and observe its operation through live video streaming. The user-centered approach encourages active learning, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving—key competencies identified as essential for future professionals. The implementation follows a structured methodology that integrates OTA (over-the-air) programming capabilities, program queuing based on FIFO principles, and performance monitoring tools. Feedback from the learning session demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of this framework for remote learning environments. This educational model aligns with current industry trends in automation and robotics while promoting self-directed learning and collaborative engagement, providing strong evidence supporting further development of similar cyber-physical systems for educational purposes.
