Abstract:
Currently, the advancement of technologies is based on experiments or other observations that are translated into mathematical equations, for which in many cases there are specific applications in science and engineering related to matrix algebra that in multiple situations it is difficult to reach the solution. directly. The main objective of this article was to develop a Matlab GUI executable for matrix algebra. To guarantee its correct functioning of the executable, a pre and post test was evaluated for the students of the numerical methods course of the V cycle of the professional school of Environmental Civil Engineering, so their academic performance was improved. With this executable, both teachers and undergraduate students will be able to solve different applications related to matrix algebra and be able to interpret the results in a simple way without having Matlab software.
