Abstract:
This paper takes as a unit of analysis the subject Business Management Introduction and compares learning-teaching methodologies and evaluation systems in two degrees: (1) Degree on Business Management, which is non-adapted to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA in advance); and (2) Degree on Finance and Accounting, which is adapted to the EHEA framework. Specifically, we compare methodologies used in the practical part of the subject (work in groups, expositions, multimedia resources, etc.) and systems of evaluations (both in the practical part of the subject and globally in the subject). This comparison will enable us to understand better how are working the new Degrees adapted to the EHEA and which is the students’ perception in both cases. To achieve these objectives, we present the results of two surveys carried out on a sample of students’ in both Degrees examined. The results of the paper enable us to extract interesting conclusions about the recent application of EHEA framework and students’ satisfaction with it; and also the perception of non-adapted students.
