Abstract:
In this paper are explained the results reached by a group of lecturers after teaching some subjects related to Business Management in two Spanish universities: University of Castellón and University of València. More precisely, we compare the results obtained in a subject adapted to the Higher Education Area –HEA- (Strategic Business Management at University of Castellón) and the results of a subject non-adapted to the HEA (Business Management at University of València). We consider it is especially interesting to compare adapted versus non –adapted subjects because it will enable us to understand better if the convergence with HEA reports students with a higher motivation and satisfaction and if it guarantees the development of a wider range of capabilities that allow them to perform better their future managerial job. To carry out a correct control of the achievement of the purposes of the project, it was obtained feedback from the students through a survey. Through a statistical treatment of the data, we obtain interesting results about satisfaction with the subject, perception with the methodology applied in the subject and development of management capabilities.
