Abstract:
This study analyzes the methodology and the students’ satisfaction and interest in the subject Business Management. This subject pertains to the second course of the Degree on Business Management at the University of Valencia. This Degree is in its last years before the application of the new Degree adapted to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). The objective of this paper is twofold. First, it explains the methodology utilized in the subject both in theoretical and practical classes, analyzing how the immediate implementation of the Degrees adapted to the European Higher Education Area is influencing to the teaching of the subjects non-adapted to the EHEA. Second, the paper examines the students’ subjective evaluation about their satisfaction and interest of the subject, paying special attention to the practical part of the subject, where a methodology typical of the EHEA (work in groups) has been implemented. The results of the paper show that the methodology utilized results in highly satisfied and motivated students. Moreover, the methodology applied in the practical part of the subject has been a way of preparing students towards the new EHEA.
