Abstract:
This paper identifies virtual classroom software solutions in providing education in the synchronous online environment. It identifies the functionalities of video conferencing platforms in the virtual educational setting as a replacement for traditional classrooms at the University of Sarajevo, which are primarily used and identifies the missing for teacher satisfaction with available online solutions.

The satisfaction of 185 teachers was questioned through the following determinants: system characteristics of the platform (stability and compatibility of the system), customer service support in the background, the video quality on the platform (video image quality, sound quality, video information transfer time), platform technical requirements (speed of access, links for navigation, security, reliability), platform teaching support system (interaction, functionalities, subject management and student status).

The analysis of collected data was performed using descriptive statistics, statistical testing, and multiple regression.

This paper contributes to the existing literature by identifying the functionalities that good video conferencing software must include to be evaluated as a positive teaching experience. Regardless of the pandemic crisis, teaching and learning are entering a new era when information and communication technologies play an increasingly important role, so future research should focus on connecting different learning styles corresponding to online teaching opportunities.
