Abstract:
This article describes the objectives, trends and results of the research project 'English Camp in Italy'. The study and practice of the English language are included in Italian school curricula. Despite this, the need to supplement classroom education with immersive experiences remains a perceived need among families and professionals. Moreover, to acquire the language skills necessary for higher studies or the professional world, it is considered essential to include interaction with native English speakers.
Following a literature review, a case study is examined in detail, proposed by an English school in Italy operating by offering intensive and residential learning programmes. The educational model presented is also reconstructed in the items that shape the initiative's legal constraints. Furthermore, the course is designed to provide a more effective and efficient language-learning environment. The findings include the legal framework rebuilding, characterised by a multi-layered structure including legal discipline and bureaucratic practice, and evidence of some positioning opportunities.
This study recommends that future research be conducted with a larger sample of other educational experiences countrywide. Keywords:
