Abstract:
Our project is an attempt in the elaboration of a team of teachers, professors and schools of different educational levels to give answers to the Spanish Educational system demands related to the inclusion of basic competences in the Primary and Secondary Education. To face this challenge we started an investigation that pursues the harmonization in the acquisition of competences from primary to college education. Methodological suggestions are given to be applied in Primary and Secondary Education, in which the use of information and communication technologies is promoted, considering also the teaching of physically handicapped students. Because it seems that the teaching-learning process based on competences cannot be understood without the appropriate evaluation tools, another of our principal objectives is the creation of an evaluation practices` catalogue used in several high schools of Palencia (Spanish province); that is, to list the objective indices of the competences that students should achieve. Therefore, we aim at showing the state-of-the-art of the instruction based on competences and to propose some future action lines.
