Abstract:
The use of the podcasts in the process of teaching foreign languages can have many advantages:
1. The podcasts are not just about of the cultural topics, they are also related to the actual facts.
2. The learners can develop their research skills, if they are looking for interesting German-language podcasts. With their selection, they bring their own interests into the classroom.
3. The regular use of such podcasts can help learners to hear and understand spoken German, learn new vocabulary, and develop strategies to better understand authentic hearing and listening visuals.

With the audio and video podcasts, we have come to know another tool in the field of social media, which is suitable for use in German lessons. Podcasts provide up-to-the-minute cultural information. In addition, you can train speaking and oral presentation in German by creating power point presentations yourself. With increasing experience, the use of podcasts in German classes can lead to learners really publishing their own contributions, that is, presenting them to an audience. This is a great way to practice speaking and presenting to a specific audience.
