Abstract:
The Sport for Development Sector Program (DpD), proposed and implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), is conceived as a social intervention strategy that makes use of games, physical activity, and sport to address peace objectives. and development. Within the framework of the DpD program is the Sport with Principles (DcP) method, which conceives an intervention that is oriented towards the development of skills, including the dimensions of human development at the physical, social, sporting and cognitive levels. This method has its heart in five principles: Discipline, Trust, Respect and Tolerance, Fair Play Justice, and Empathy (GIZ, 2017).

In some countries, the Positive Youth Development (PYD) instrument, created by Lerner et al (2005), has been applied. The PYD instrument is taken as a reference, it is operationalized through the evaluation of the Five Cs: competence, confidence, character, connection, and care; which allows an approach to the impact that the DpD project has had in the Colombian context, particularly in the department of Norte de Santander. It starts with the adaptation of an instrument to the Colombian context, which after its validation is applied in a pre-test to two experimental groups and a control group in the city of Cúcuta, Department of Norte de Santander. A series of Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (AFC) models were used.)

Of the 71 NNJA, there were 50 boys, and 20 girls, and one participant did not respond. The ethnicity question was confusing. The grades fluctuated between 1 and 9, the highest frequency was between 4 and 7, with 5 being the most frequent. The frequency of sports was higher at school during classes and in extracurricular sections. In the observation carried out accompanied by the psychologists, elements such as differences in economic strata can be evidenced, perceiving possible strata 0 and 1 in experimental groups, and possible strata 1 and 2 in the Control group. Additional characteristics observed are a good organization, adequate sports elements, adequate bio-safety conditions, and a good level of familiarity and affiliation among the participants accompanied by an atmosphere of respect and discipline.

The viability was reviewed with Cronbach's alpha, its factorial loads of the analyzed data gave a result of 0.995, indicating that this instrument is viable. In the confirmatory factor analysis, to look at the absolute measure of fit of the model, the chi-square similarity ratio is reviewed, which verifies the observed data matrix and the data matrix estimated by the factorial model, if it is expected that P is greater than or equal to 0.05, which would indicate that there is no significant difference between them. The model presents a result of 1 excellent for the character and personality category, 0.76 for the competencies category, 0.7 for the caring category, 0.35 for the connection category, and 0.4 for the confidence category. All the results showed a positive value that validates the model.
