Abstract:

The COVID - 19 pandemic is a global health threat to almost all sectors of the economy. Viruses know no borders, so the governments of all the countries affected had to take measures to stop the threat or slow it down. Organizations also had to ensure business continuity so that they suffered the lowest possible losses.

The article focuses on the research of possibilities and experiences with communication of security managers during the COVID - 19 pandemic. It includes an examination of the user friendliness of individual communication platforms used during the COVID - 19 pandemic for the management, communication and training of security managers. The research was carried out by controlled interviews with security managers on an available sample of randomly selected (addressed) respondents - security managers. Based on the results, the advantages and disadvantages of individual communication platforms were described. At the same time, recommendations were made for future pandemic periods.
