Abstract:

Article contains analysis of learning opportunities in the fields of Security on the state and private universities in Slovak and the Czech Republic. Security of citizens is increasingly discussed topic on professional and scientific forums. The necessity of security solutions citizen reflects the current security situation in Europe. Employees of the village - the authorities have the possibility to affect the security of the municipality. Municipalities are autonomous, have their own budget and have opportunities to increase security. Municipal employees have a direct impact on security, because they know the local security environment. What possibilities have municipal employees who want security education? Article includes a description, analysis and comparison of fields of study and teaching method and technology used in teaching in fields of study focusing on security in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
