Abstract:
The type of evaluation that is recommended by the Bologna Plan is a continuous and comprehensive one. This involves running a large number of tests or classroom activities. There is a high number of enrolled students in most of the subjects of the first years in the Degrees, so this evaluation becomes an impossible task.

As an alternative, many teachers propose an open test system. In this paper, we explain the experiment we ran with a multiple choice questionnaires system in the subject Mathematics II from the Degree in Business Administration in the University of Seville. We study if this option allows the teacher to assess the skills, knowledge and abilities acquired by the students with respect to the considered targets on Mathematics’ subjects in the Degrees of Economy, Business Administration and Finances. Also, we analyze if these questionnaires can be used as a part of continuous assessment system in The European Higher Education Area)
