Abstract:
Modern society is characterized by the intensification in various fields and manifestations , which requires "the development of adequate modern realities and conditions of life strategies in learning a foreign language" [Kazimyanets 2012].

A videocourse can be regarded as one of the embodiments of effective form of language training and a wonderful way to get information about Russia and the development of listening and speaking skills of foreign-speaking students. The presence both of audial and visual series are effective in the process of understanding and further reproduction of speech. Visual material ensures the establishment of semantic relationships between audio and visual information, reduces memory effort of a listener. Visuals are not just a support for understanding and memorizing of sounding message – they bear significant information, participating in the transfer of different meanings. According to the practice using movies and visuals intensifies the learning process , facilitates the study of vocabulary, understanding of grammar, helps to improve speaking and writing skills. Educational material in the form of the videocourse helps to compensate for the lack of linguistic-cultural environment, and meets the requirements of cognitive-communicative trends in methods of teaching foreign languages. Cognition we understand as a "man's ability to explore the world through language, to create a second reality, society and to comprehend the language through the language" and sociability is understood as "the ability of people using language to build mutual understanding in society" [Shlyakhov 2011: 35]. The obvious advantage of learning materials with audiovisual reinforcement is their effectiveness in teaching listening, which is considered to be one of the most difficult aspects in the process of learning a foreign language. Listening "remains the undisputed ‘leader’ among other speech activities" [Klobukova 2002], because it is linked with almost all activities of foreigners in the area of educational and everyday-life communication. The quality of education at all stages of training depends on the development of auditory skills.

That’s why a modern foreign language lesson is seemed to be effective, if the teacher optimally combines knowledge of psychophysiological characteristics and educational needs of the audience, well-chosen materials and their methodological support – all these aspects contribute to the development of skills of listening, speaking and writing.
