Abstract:
Nowadays, the evolution of knowledge is so rapid that everything quickly becomes obsolete. For this reason, the concept of continuing education has appeared, as individuals are required to constantly update their knowledge in order to be qualified for the demands of the labour market.

Assisted reproduction is a very dynamic field that is in continuous development and requires professionals to be in constant learning to stay up to date with the newest technologies and techniques that arise, providing the best evidenced-based care to patients.

There are many alternatives available to pursue continuing education such as online training that can be supported by multimedia platforms.

Multimedia platforms are considered a very practical and cost-effective learning tool. It is an interactive educational process that enables students to access information anywhere and at any time. This proves a very useful tool for global companies such as IVIRMA Global where there is a huge variety of time zones throughout the company and workers have a limited time availability.

Based on the Continuing Medical Education System in the United States of America, IVIRMA Global felt it was necessary to implement a similar system to ensure the highest quality and to update IVIRMA professionals’ knowledge in their fields. In order to do so, we designed a program called Learning for Excellence (LFE).
LFE is a continuing education system based on a wide variety of training content and is associated with a scoring system that allows our workers to reach an “excellence” level of knowledge.

One of the main tools used in the LFE program is We Share Our Knowledge (WSOK) which consists of a multimedia platform that serves as a repository for the content generated in the company.

In this article we describe the details of this multimedia platform and its use on employee education
