Abstract:
In the different studies that are taught at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Edificación de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid,, Bachelor Studies, Official Double Degree UPM administration and management of companies and Building, Technology and Management Program... etc. Projects Presentation with different computer drawing programs.

We teach Manual Drawing Sketching, Scale Drawing Computer Drawing Autocad and Building Information Modeling (BIM). This process produces the building information model (also abbreviated BIM), which covers the geometry of the building, spatial relationships, geographical information, as well as the quantities and properties of building components.

Nevertheless, the impression 3D has much more behind what it seems in the first instance. Our pupils make models with a printer 3D. We will see some examples of our student works.

3D printers have been one of the greatest inventions that have reached its fullness in the 21st century, especially thanks to a lot of companies that are innovating in their production and in the uses that can give to them, and trading a lot of printers with different purposes, sizes and prices, opening millions of possibilities for easy production even allowing trial and error without excessive costs.

The methodologies used in the representation of the architectural object and how it is describe, varies depending on the graphic medium used. The means and their evolution are important, and the professional must know about them, as well as the techniques used to achieve those means; but the most important recognition is that the professional has a working method, an understanding of architectural language and its application as a tool of architectural representation, both constructed and not built.

We must think that regardless of the technique used, the most important thing is to know the objective that we want to obtain, since this is the only way to get a good presentation of the project.

In recent times the introduction of multimedia presentations drives the professional that must know these means and their use. More and more new advances in computing means that we are constantly innovating in our systems of representation of buildings. But in turn there is a problem, and is that access to virtual graphic representation without the necessary maturity in the field of architectural presentation.
