Abstract:
When we draw up a building we are expressing a personal way of approach to architecture. We are interpreting the building. We must make a detailed study of the object: construction, structure, ...

Drawing by computer is widely used in the architect community, more and more the studio architects’ and the ateliers of architects demand the professional who collaborates in the tasks of production and drawing of the architectonic planes, with more knowledge in computer drawing. Lately the introduction of the presentations in three dimensions and multimedia causes the professional to get knowledge on these means and their uses.

Nevertheless, the virtual pads introduce a fundamental concept in drawing up plans or plan survey. But a problem exists, to access to the virtual graphical representation without the necessary maturity in the field of the Architectonic Presentation.
From the Technical University of Madrid, we must begin to stimulate the new forms to express the architecture, imaginary or constructed, and to express our work with a clear and concise language.

Our aim is the analysis of the instruments that, at this moment, are being used in the Surveying. We will display the different methods of representation used in the Construction. The basic tools of computer aided drawing programs would be analyzed, to see their application in the computer graphic work of different architectural works. We will see the results obtained in the different applications, giving us an idea about the rules that we believe are possible to be followed.
For that reason, we are going to set out the experiences obtained in the development of a course of postgraduate realized in our University.

The industry will have to meet the government’s BIM deadline. The race is on by 2018, all centrally procured government construction projects, no matter their size, must be delivered using Building Information Modelling, or BIM. This will extend right through the supply chain, from the largest contractor to the smallest supplier, and it is hoped, will lead to the industry-wide adoption of BIM as the benefits become more widely understood. Across the industry, organizations must get up to speed over the next three years - or risk missing out on valuable opportunities.

A building information model contains not only the design of a building but data concerning the properties of its components, its construction and ongoing maintenance. The impression 3D is one of the big trends of last years in the technological area. In fact we see little by little since different models of printer go out to the consumer market 3D that you can buy so much across Internet as in department store. Nevertheless, the impression 3D has much more behind what it seems in the first instance. Our pupils make models with a printer 3D model MARKETBOT REPLICATOR TM 2 DESKTOP 3D PRINTER. We can see some examples of their works.

We must think that independently of the used technique, the most important thing is to know the aim that a priori we want to obtain, since this is the only mean to get it. For that reason, a constructive understanding of the architectonic work is advisable, before realizing any representation of the same, and based on it, we will choose the more suitable technique of representation.
